EU sustainability reporting, due-diligence rules’ postponement approved

( March 26, 2025, 15:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Representatives of EU member states today approved the postponement of the application of certain corporate sustainability reporting and due-diligence requirements, as well as the transposition deadline of the due-diligence rules. These changes are part of the first simplification package proposed by the European Commission, aimed at cutting red tape for EU companies.
