Virginia company, executives charged in US with engaging in illicit Russian export schemes

The defendants allegedly operated an e-commerce website that allowed Russian customers to order US goods and technology directly from US retailers. After the US government imposed export controls in response to Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the defendants began shipping items to purported end users in Turkey, Finland, and Kazakhstan, knowing that the items were ultimately destined for end users in Russia, according to prosecutors....
