Buttigieg on track to be reappointed as judge for the EU General Court

National representatives are set to make an official decision on May 6. His mandate expired on August 31, 2025, but he has remained in the position as no successor has yet been appointed.Eugène Buttigieg, a judge at the EU General Court and president of its first chamber, is on track to remain in the role until at least 2031 after Malta proposed renewing his appointment, according to documents seen by MLex....
