Adit Ventures settles US SEC claims of fraud
( August 11, 2026, 19:12 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Adit Ventures Management reached a settlement with the US Securities and Exchange Commission over claims that it defrauded investors and client funds in connection with investments in pre-IPO shares, including by misappropriating advisory client assets and charging millions in undisclosed fees, the agency announced. According to the complaint, Adit used false claims and promises to persuade investors to contribute capital to Adit-managed funds between April 2019 and December 2024. The firm agreed to pay disgorgement with prejudgment interest and a civil penalty in an amount to be determined by the court upon motion by the SEC.Statement follows in full.
