UK opens consultation on proposed guidance for cryptoasset activities

( April 15, 2026, 16:02 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: UK cryptoasset firms, stablecoin issuers, and traditional finance firms have been asked to provide  feedback over the next seven weeks on the financial regulator's planned guidance for the rules for the sector's activities, including issuing qualifying stablecoins, operating a qualified cryptoasset trading platform, and dealing in cryptoassets as an agent. The Financial Conduct Authority said the consultation would close on June 3.Statement is attached....
