Revised clearing thresholds proposed by EU financial markets watchdog

( February 25, 2026, 11:21 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The European Securities and Markets Authority has published draft technical rules, setting revised clearing thresholds under EU law. The proposals retain five threshold categories, clarify how positions are calculated, and raise some of the limits for commodity, interest rate and credit derivatives to reflect market developments.
