UK peer-to-peer lending fraudster must repay victims £265,000

( January 9, 2026, 15:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A UK fraudster who left investors with millions of pounds of losses from an illicit peer-to-peer lending investment scheme called Collateral (UK) has been ordered to pay £265,523 to the victims. Andrew Currie was convicted in 2023 and sentenced to two years and six months in jail for defrauding investors through the now-collapsed lending platform. His brother Peter was also jailed.Statement follows....
