UK FCA removes regime covering off-exchange bond, derivatives trading

( November 28, 2025, 16:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The UK Financial Conduct Authority has confirmed plans to remove the Systematic Internaliser regime for bonds, derivatives, structured finance products and emission allowances, following industry consultation. The regime covers investment firms that regularly trade on their own account when handling client orders outside official trading venues, and it requires them to meet specific transparency and conduct rules.
