Singapore regulator, banks test quantum-safe tech for finance cybersecurity

Conducted with DBS, HSBC, OCBC, UOB and technology partners SPTel and SpeQtral, the trial validated that QKD can securely transfer sensitive data. A technical report released Monday highlighted QKD’s potential to bolster cyber resilience, while also noting the need for stronger security standards and interoperability across providers.
