Spanish companies withdraw EU challenges to Banco Popular resolution

( September 15, 2025, 09:38 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Spanish companies Helibética, Hola, Policlínico Centro Médico de Seguros and Medicina Asturiana have withdrawn their legal challenges against EU decisions on the 2017 resolution of Banco Popular. The EU General Court has closed the cases, dismissed requests for third-party intervention, and ruled that each plaintiff must bear its own costs, as well as those of the European Commission and the Single Resolution Board. Interveners are responsible for their own costs, the court said.Documents attached (in Spanish). Case references are T-631/17, T-637/17 and T-638/17....
