UK’s FCA seeks views on fair access to LSE’s data-center rooftop

( September 5, 2025, 10:24 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The UK’s Financial Conduct Authority is seeking views on a proposal to provide fair access to the data-center rooftop of the London Stock Exchange. The FCA is investigating whether the LSE Group and the landlord of the data-center building have hindered competition for Low Latency Connectivity Services between certain trading venues. LLCS providers build and operate high-speed connections between trading venues. The FCA is consulting to end LSEG’s exclusive rights to the rooftop and to make an equivalent space on the rooftop available to third parties, on a fair and reasonable basis.Statement follows....
