Simplified sustainability reporting rules for EU companies extended

( July 11, 2025, 11:33 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: EU companies will see some of the 2024 simplified rules on sustainability reporting extended to the 2025 and 2026 financial years, the European Commission said in a statement today. Under the current European Sustainability Reporting Standards, companies reporting for the 2024 financial year are allowed to leave out some information, such as the expected financial impact of certain sustainability risks.
