Malaysian regulator seeks public comment on enhancements to Digital Asset Exchange

( July 1, 2025, 04:59 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Malaysia’s capital markets regulator, the Securities Commission Malaysia, is seeking public comment on its proposed enhancements to the Digital Asset Exchange framework, aimed at improving the competitiveness of the country’s regulated digital assets market, boosting investor protections and strengthening the resilience and integrity of the exchange. The regulator welcomes feedback from stakeholders including digital asset issuers, prospective and existing DAX operators, financial institutions, capital market participants and other interested parties, it said in a statement.
