EU banking, insurance sectors quizzed on ESG stress-testing guidance

The draft from the EBA, ESMA and Eiopa outlines how supervisory authorities in the banking and insurance sectors should incorporate ESG risks into their stress-testing frameworks. The aim is to harmonize practices across supervisors, ensure proportionality, and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of ESG stress testing. The consultation runs until Sept. 11.Press release follows.
