Prudential, transparency rules to be changed under new EU securitization framework

It will simplify due diligence, enhance transparency and adjust prudential requirements, according to a draft proposal obtained by MLex. It is due to be presented on June 17, as part of the Savings and Investment Union work plan.The bloc’s executive arm is set to present a package proposal, obtained by MLex, that aims to develop the EU securitization market and allow banks to increase funding for the real economy (see here)....
