EU financial sector consulted on market and prospectus rules review

( May 26, 2025, 09:42 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The European Commission has opened two consultations on targeted changes in legal texts to support small mid-cap companies, including the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive and the Prospectus Regulation. The texts are part of the Fourth Omnibus package proposal aiming at simplifying the EU legal framework for small and medium-sized enterprises and small mid-cap companies, which was presented last week.
