EU to delay Basel III bank trading rules to 2027

The delay is justified by similar postponements in the US and the UK.The European Commission will delay the implementation of the market risk-related capital requirement for banks, known as the Fundamental Review of the Trading Book, by one additional year — until Jan. 1, 2027 — a spokesperson for the EU executive confirmed to MLex today....
