UK insurers to see lighter regulatory burden with range of simplifying measures

The regulator has proposed removing detailed regulatory protections from around 45,000 larger commercial insurance customers, easing the burden on insurers while maintaining protections for smaller customers. It plans to go further to reduce the regulatory burden than in proposals it first outlined last July. Commercial insurers could see a significant reduction in red tape in the UK under proposals rolled out by their regulator today....
