US appeals court reinstates temporary blockage of CFPB mass firings

The higher court revoked its earlier ruling that CFPB reductions in force were allowed only after a "particularized assessment." The upshot is that employees can keep their jobs for now, marking a setback for the Trump administration's plan to shrink the agency's workforce by 90 percent.
