UK audit regulator considering fast-track enforcement process

The Financial Reporting Council is reviewing its publication processes, including the discretionary announcement that sometimes announces the opening of an investigation as well as the mandatory announcements as to the outcome of an investigation, Kate O’Neill, Director of Stakeholder Engagement and Corporate Affairs, said in a podcast.
