Former Swiss banking lobbyist Mirabaud handed suspended sentence over Kuwaiti bribery

( September 8, 2026, 14:25 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Former Swiss Bankers Association head Pierre Mirabaud has been handed a two-year suspended sentence after admitting bribery and money laundering allegations. Mirabaud, a former private banker, was accused of paying millions of Swiss francs in bribes to a Kuwaiti official.
