EU member states eye quick approval for 'omnibus' simplification bills

The goal is to have the laws adopted in a few months, though the European Parliament is unlikely to have its position ready by then, and its consent is needed for the laws to be adopted. EU member states have set up a dedicated committee of national experts to deal with the two "omnibus" simplification bills unveiled last week by the European Commission, MLex has learned....
