US OCC releases letter on information security incident to supervised institutions

( April 15, 2025, 20:03 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Office of the Comptroller of the Currency publicly released a letter sent to its supervised institutions regarding unauthorized access to OCC e-mail systems. The OCC said it immediately disabled an unauthorized account and is now determining what data has been accessed, including the extent to which highly sensitive information relating to the financial condition of federally regulated financial institutions was compromised.
