EU banks should test crisis communications periodically, resolution body says
( September 17, 2026, 08:52 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: EU banks are expected to maintain a sufficiently detailed crisis communications plan and test it periodically to ensure its effectiveness, the EU's bank-resolution authority said in clarified guidance on how to communicate during a failure or crisis. The Single Resolution Board's guidance, which does not introduce new requirements, included other key principles such as coordinating effectively with resolution authorities and stakeholders in times of crisis and managing communication-related risks.
