The regulator has yet to respond to a report which urged it to adapt its regulatory perimeter and prepare for increasingly autonomous AI models. AI models are increasingly being relied on to manage UK consumers’ personal finances and helping financial firms uncover cyber flaws faster than they can fix them. But the UK’s financial regulator has yet to say whether those risks require changes to its regulatory approach....
