Reporting framework for EU firms using foreign clearinghouses open for feedback

( August 19, 2026, 13:21 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A consultation on an EU framework for annual reporting by clearing members and clients on their activity at non-EU central counterparties, was opened by the European Securities and Markets Authority on Wednesday. The consultation — on regulatory technical standards and implementing technical standards to implement this reporting requirement under the European Market Infrastructure Regulation — aims to improve supervisory visibility of EU firms' exposures to recognized non-EU CCPs.
