( July 31, 2026, 15:01 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The European Central Bank found that 110 major euro-area banks could design credible geopolitical crisis scenarios tailored to their own risks, according to the results of its 2026 geopolitical risk stress test. However, weaknesses remained in assessing detailed impacts, linking capital and liquidity pressures, and proposing realistic responses during severe market stress.
