Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Oracle now under UK 'critical third party' oversight

They started to be jointly overseen by the Bank of England, its Prudential Regulation Authority supervisory arm, and the Financial Conduct Authority, on July 13. Joint supervision requires them to maintain timely communication with regulators during major incidents and to identify and manage risks in the critical services they provide for financial firms.
