( May 5, 2026, 18:45 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: EU lawmakers on Tuesday adopted their stance on a reform to make the EU securitization framework more attractive to both issuers and investors in order to boost the bloc's capital markets. The European Parliament's Economic Affairs committee approved the proposal by 33 votes in favor and 25 against.
