Firms fighting UK car finance redress plan warned to consider clients' interests

The Financial Conduct Authority said firms should tell their clients that legal challenges will delay compensation. The FCA's  statement comes after Consumer Voice confirmed on Wednesday that it will challenge the redress plan, arguing that consumers should be getting higher compensation. The plan is meant to compensate consumers that were treated unfairly when seeking car finance and foresees an average of £829 per agreement.Statement follows....
