EU insurers called to comment on plan to simplify Solvency II guidelines

( April 15, 2026, 15:34 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority is seeking feedback on proposals to shorten 13 sets of guidelines under the key EU law framework for insurers, Solvency II, as part of efforts to simplify rules and reduce administrative burdens. The changes would streamline guidelines without introducing new requirements.
