EU insurers invited to comment on reducing disclosure burden

( March 13, 2026, 10:40 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority has opened a consultation on possible inefficiencies, overlaps and inconsistencies in reporting and disclosure rules for insurers and pension funds. The feedback will inform advice to the European Commission on creating a more integrated data collection system aimed at reducing duplication, improving data standardization and lowering compliance costs.
