US Fed to re-issue Basel III bank mortgage-origination capital proposals
By Neil Roland ( February 17, 2026, 20:53 GMT | Insight) -- The US Federal Reserve plans soon to re-issue Basel III rule proposals aimed at increasing bank incentives to engage in mortgage origination and servicing, Fed Vice Chair for Supervision Michelle Bowman said.
