These informal discussions are intended to pave the way for a formal meeting of EU heads of state and government on competitiveness scheduled for March 19-20 in Brussels.The issue of streamlining — and perhaps lowering — the EU’s bank capital requirements appears to have some support from certain countries in the bloc, including Germany and Italy....
