EU sustainable finance advisory group’s new mandate members announced

( January 21, 2026, 11:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The European Commission on Wednesday published the list of members for the third mandate of the Platform on Sustainable Finance — its advisory body on the EU taxonomy and the broader sustainable finance framework. The commission appointed 28 members and 16 observers from the public and private sectors, and reappointed Helena Viñes Fiestas, the commissioner of Spain’s Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores, as chair.
