UK retail banks set to disclose annual reporting on business models

( January 14, 2026, 11:04 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Retail banks in the UK are set to send annual regulatory reporting on their business models to the Financial Conduct Authority, under a proposal released on Wednesday. The requirements will apply to the 33 banks and building societies offering retail banking services that have more than 200,000 UK customer relationships and revenue of at least £5 million in the relevant periods. The FCA said the data it receives will help it to spot emerging harms, and to intervene where it needs to. The consultation closes on March 4.Statement is attached....
