Finance lobby questions EU countries' stance on capital rules for securitization

The organization said on Tuesday that the provisions on capital requirements in the EU countries' stance are not "ambitious" enough. The financial sector is now looking to the European Parliament, which still needs to agree to a common stance on the reform before it can negotiate a final position with EU countries.EU governments' stance on a revamped securitization framework introduces needless tightening of capital requirements, said the Association for Financial Markets in Europe, representing European banks and market players, on Tuesday (see here)....
