UK capital markets losing ground to competitors, industry group says

The group said that the UK initial public offering market has hit a historic low, while the UK’s share of global equity markets has fallen to 3.4 percent — down from 10 percent in 1990. It also said that China, Germany and US are performing better in terms of sustainable finance and that securitisation activity remains weak.
