Crypto sector sees foreign multi-issuance stablecoins in EU facing backlash

They argue that it could undermine EU sovereignty and financial stability. Their concerns come as the bloc’s executive is about to publish a non-binding guidance document that interprets the markets in crypto-assets regulation.The EU law on crypto-assets allows stablecoins issued by both an EU entity and a non-EU entity, the European Commission is set to explain in a guidance document to be published after the summer....
