BOE reports five disruptions to its high-value payments system RTGS

( August 21, 2025, 12:54 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Bank of England's annual report on the payment systems it operates today reported five disruptions in the last year to the real-time gross settlement system, or RTGS, a high-value payments network used by banks and companies. Most led to payments being delayed, though they were typically resolved within an hour.
