US Treasury seeks comment on ways banks can detect illegal stablecoin activity

By Neil Roland ( August 18, 2025, 20:02 GMT | Insight) -- The US Department of the Treasury has requested public comment on ways that banks and other firms can use to detect illegal stablecoin activity such as money-laundering, as directed by the GENIUS Act signed by President Donald Trump last month.
