Thousands of companies struck off UK list over financial-crime claims, NCA says

( July 16, 2025, 14:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: More than 11,000 companies have been struck off the UK's company repository, Companies House, as part of a crackdown on suspected financial crime, the National Crime Agency said today. The companies were not compliant with Registered Office requirements under the Companies Act 2006, the agency said. “The project was designed to identify and enable enforcement action against high-risk company incorporation locations and corporate entities believed to be enabling criminality in the UK and overseas,” the NCA said.Statement follows....
