UK fintech associations cheer government growth efforts

The government today published its financial services growth and competitiveness strategy, which identifies fintech as a priority growth sector. Fintechs will see a new "scale-up" unit within the Financial Conduct Authority, as well as a listings taskforce, aimed at supporting companies to grow and list.
