Green taxonomy won’t be pursued by UK finance ministry

The decision follows a consultation with the industry, where 55 percent of respondents had a mixed or negative sentiment toward the idea of a UK green taxonomy. “After careful consideration, the government has concluded that a UK taxonomy would not be the most effective tool to deliver the green transition, and should not be part of our sustainable finance framework,” the finance ministry said.Consultation response is attached....
