UK payments regulator publishes 2025/26 work plan

( July 10, 2025, 14:47 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The UK Payment Systems Regulator has published its 2024/25 annual report, together with its 2025/26 work plan. The PSR acknowledged “uncertainties” around its role and objectives as it is largely consolidated within the Financial Conduct Authority. The watchdog said it is “planning detailed activities to minimize any disruption to our operations during the transition and beyond.” A directors’ statement said that a bill formalizing the abolition of the PSR is expected to be presented before Parliament in late 2025.
