EU insolvency law adopted by European Parliament's Legal Affairs Committee

With 19 votes for and 4 against, the committee of lawmakers adopted their position on the draft legislation designed to unify insolvency standards across member states and strengthen asset tracking and recovery by creditors. The proposed legislation will now move to a vote by the parliament as a whole, followed by talks with EU governments on the final text. Press release follows....
