Digital euro’s compensation model, governance divide EU countries

Questions on the holding limits for the digital euro and the involvement of member states in the project also remain politically blocked. EU member state representatives will discuss the draft document on June 10.The compensation of payment service providers for the cost of offering the digital euro is one of the unresolved issues in the digital euro regulation that member states have yet to agree on, a draft document seen by MLex says.
