Canara Bank cleared of anticompetitive allegations by Indian watchdog

The solar energy firm had accused the state-owned bank of various infractions, including arbitrarily altering interest rates, imposing hidden charges and obstructing loan transfers. The CCI found no prima facie case of contravention of the 2002 Competition Act.  Canara Bank was cleared by the Indian antitrust watchdog of allegations of anticompetitive conduct by arbitrarily changing interest rates....
