Consultation on UK fraud reimbursement claims management delayed

( April 10, 2025, 15:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A consultation on whether UK banks and payments firms would be subject to a regulatory requirement to use Pay.UK’s claims management system for processing authorized push payment, or APP, fraud reimbursement claims, has been delayed. In an update, the Payment Systems Regulator said it would delay the consultation, due this month, by three to six months to account for the “broad direction of travel” of the government’s National Payments Vision.
