EU financial sector gets detailed rules on financial instruments' markets

( April 10, 2025, 15:57 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The European Securities and Markets Authority published today its final rules as part of the revised Market in Financial Instruments Regulation. The rules address the application of the single volume cap and transparency calculations, a new qualitative regime for "Systematic Internalizers," and circuit breakers and operational resilience for trading venues. The rules have been submitted to the European Commission, which now has three months to decide whether to endorse them.Press release follows.
